Job Information
Support HR department and business in various HR areas based on team assignment. Collaborate with HR team members for accurate and efficient HR operations.
Role & Responsibility
- Administer work-related injury(and other) leaves of absence, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Update employee records ad beneift deductions as needed.
- Review and analyze workers' compensation claims to determine eligibility and coverage.
- Report all claims to third party administrator in a timely manner.
- Manage caseload, analyze each claim, and ensure all paperwork completed and maintained.
- Communicate with injured employees, healthcare providers, and insurance adjusters to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Ensure comliance with state and federal workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Investigate and assess the validity of claims, including conducting interviews and obtaining relevant evidence.
- Manage workers' compensation centralized policies and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to employees and managers regarding workers' compensatin procedures and requirements.
- Track and maintain accurate and up-to-date records databaseof all claim-related activities and documentation.
- Collaborate with EHS, HR, supervisors, and administrators to facilitate reporting of work-related illness and injuries and return to work.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent related experience.
- 2-4 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in HRIS software and HR tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required.
- Travel: < 10%
