As a Ship Direct Specialist, you will process and expedite all incoming ship direct dealer orders with appropriate supplier and/or alternate source.
Role & Responsibility
Process Direct Shipments
- Manage the end-to-end fulfillment of drop ship orders originating in the US and terminating both in county and internationally
- Communicate pertinent information regarding Purchase orders with Suppliers, Internal Sales, Materials, Sourcing, Accounting, Logistics, Export, and Inventory Warehouse personnel
- Maintain notes in inventory management system with up-to-date information
- Researches and responds timely to inquiries related to the accuracy, pricing and delivery of drop ship orders
- Collaborates with suppliers to obtain favorable and timely deliveries; drives to improve lead time
- Researches and addresses invoice discrepancies involving drop ship suppliers
- Creates and maintains internal documents for increased visibility to our internal customers to always have the most complete and up-to-date information on the status of the orders
- Evaluate current processes and suggest any appropriate improvement to increase efficiency and better the customer experience
- Manage and build relationships with vendors to ensure drop shipments are being processed timely and accurately
- Review reports to evaluate vendor performance and address areas of improvement
Job Requirement
Education Required: Any – Associates Degree or Allow Equivalent
Experience Required: 2>5 years
Travel Required: <10%
- 2 years of business or office experience
- Knowledge of parts software business systems helpful
- Microsoft Office software – Excel proficiency a must
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally amidst interruptions
- Must be detail oriented, ability to organize high email traffic
- Able to prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities
