Job Information

Work with internal and external customers to resolve inventory and material record related problems. Overall responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of Bobcat aftermarket parts inventory (approx. 70mm).

Analyze inputs and outputs to inventory as well as data (i.e.  Bin counts, cycle counts, quality audits) provided by 3rd party logistics provider (APL). 

Also, manage weekly cycle count inventory process with independent auditors and 3rd party inventory logistics/inventory supplier. Assist with other operations functions as required.

Role & Responsibility

Analyze Inventory Inputs and Outputs

  • Prepare weekly inventory comparison (Oracle/WMS) and reconcile and reject inventory comparison.
  • Maintain unsupported materials list, work with 3PL locations to move unsupported material
  • Monitor all parts with pending material statuses, update status as necessary
  • Complete all month end inventory reporting, present findings/analysis to management
  • Correct and reprocess all 856, 947, and SRC failed Idocs
  • Monitor weekly cycle count process and provide summary
  • Assist ship direct with items lost/damaged in transit
  • Remove blocked material from system
  • Create deliveries for all ship direct items received into Canadian transfer process
  • Complete morning reporting for daily sales, releases pending (both APLL and SRC), and daily cycle counting
  • Analysis of monthly inventory gains/losses, stockroom backorders, and return material scrap.
  • Work with external auditors on various requests for analysis and information. 
  • Provide Daily/Weekly/Monthly inventory reporting as defined by leadership.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance related field
  • Experience: 2>5 years
  • Travel: <10%
  • Corporate Finance background with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial reporting and inventory control.
  • CPA/CMA/MBA and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft products.
  • Must have a high level of motivation and individual initiative.
  • Analytical/problem solving skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently, with little supervision.


To maintain accurate perpetual inventory records (Oracle/WMS) to insure adequate inventory to support the aftermarket parts sales operation.

Provide accurate and timely reporting of inventory to meet cutoffs, closing schedules, analysis, and reporting done on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
