We are seeking a strategic and creative Internal Communications Manager Sr to lead internal communication efforts across North America. This role will be responsible for developing a comprehensive internal communications strategy that builds employee connection, clarity, and engagement across corporate, functional, and manufacturing environments.
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this leader will partner closely with Corporate Communications, Brand, and senior leadership to bring our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to life internally. This role will shape how we communicate across diverse channels—from production floors to corporate offices—ensuring that our messages are clear, consistent, and aligned to our brand and values, and support change initiatives.

Role & Responsibility
Strategic Communication Leadership
- Design and lead the internal communications strategy to support culture, employee engagement, organizational priorities, and business transformation.
- Support employees through organizational changes by providing clear and timely communication.
- Serve as a communications advisor to senior leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams.
- Develop messaging frameworks that align with company strategy, values, and EVP.
- Manage internal communications during crises, ensuring employees are informed and supported
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive initiatives to foster a positive work environment, promote company values, and strengthen employee engagement.
- Lead planning and delivery of internal events such as company town halls, site visits, recognition programs, and executive communications.
- Create internal campaigns and engagement experiences that celebrate employee contributions and connect teams to our mission and goals.
- Support change management and people-focused initiatives with clear, empathetic communication.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with site leaders across North America from corporate to manufacturing operations sites to enable consistent, localized communication.
- Equip frontline managers and facility leaders with toolkits, templates, and training to cascade messages effectively.
- Align internal communication practices across all locations, balancing regional consistency with local relevance.
Brand & Channel Management
- Manage and evolve internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, digital signage, ServiceNow mobile, email newsletters, mobile apps) to support accessibility across a dispersed workforce.
- Continuously assess channel effectiveness and make data-driven insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Partner closely with Corporate Communications, Brand and Marketing to ensure internal and external messaging are aligned and mutually reinforcing.
- Embed the EVP into internal content, employee experiences, and talent initiatives in partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree – Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years’ progressive experience with internal communication, corporate communications, or employee engagement, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to develop strategic communication plans and translate complex concepts into clear, actionable messages
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and storytelling skills with a focus on delivering communication plans and strategies.
- Proficiency with modern communication platforms and content management systems.
- Collaborative, agile, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong passion for the employee experience and engagement driving measurable results.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with a preference for knowledge of change management principles.
- Travel Standard: < 10%
