EHS Specialist - Temp

*This role is temporary, expected to last until April 2026*

As a Temporary Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting environmental health and safety (EHS) programs. You will assist in identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. You will also promote a culture of safety, provide training to employees, and monitor EHS performance. 

Role & Responsibility

• Conduct inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues
• Collaborate with different departments to identify and evaluate EHS risks and provide recommendations for improvement 
• Maintain records and documentation related to EHS activities, incidents, and compliance 
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventive action plans 
• Monitor and track EHS performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist in the coordination of emergency response drills and exercises 

Job Requirement

• Previous experience in EHS is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences 
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to assess data and identify trends 
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders 
• Experience in conducting EHS inspections, audits, and incident investigations is preferred
