Job Information

Responsible for Product Parts information for Doosan Bobcat products (current and non-current) distributed globally. Responsible for development and maintenance of Doosan Bobcat Parts Manuals for use by dealers and customers globally.

Research, analyze and process Engineering releases, change notices, service parts lists and vendor change notices. Convert existing and new service parts information into electronic format for production of parts manuals, and electronic parts manuals distributed to Bobcat dealers.

Work with Engineering, Service, Bobcat Parts Operations and vendors to implement changes needed to support Bobcat Company customer requirements.

Role & Responsibility

  • Research, Analyze, and Process Engineering/Service Releases-Analyze Engineering Change Notices for effect on Service parts globally.
  • Review Engineering documentation for effect on non-current models globally.
  • Analyze Engineering assembly drawings and determine best methods of illustrating to show proper relationship of internal parts.
  • Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Service Notices (SCN), and Vendor Change Notices-Communicate parts standards changes/requests to Standards Coordinator.
  • Work with Engineering, Service and Parts staff to identify and resolve parts-related problems.
  • Work with component vendors to gather and release Service part information.
  • Assign part numbers to component vendor parts globally.
  • Answer parts inquiry calls for Parts Sales Reps and Dealers to support Aftermarket Parts and Technical Services Coordinators.
  • Production of Electronic Parts Manuals-Release documentation to the Parts System which allows Dealer and Customer to order and receive replacement parts for products globally.
  • Work with illustrating staff to coordinate the layout schematic and illustration views to depict function, relationship, assembly, disassembly, sequence or installation of individual or related parts.
  • Input Parts data into Illustrated Parts Catalog Database, to output to Bobcat Aftermarket Support System for Dealer use and PDF for printing.
  • Perform other such related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Technical knowledge and mechanical experience preferred.  Illustration experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Bobcat products or a parts business or products preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.  Pro -E or Publishing software a plus.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Education Required: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Experience Required: 2>5 years
  • Travel Required: <10%
