Financial Controlling Analyst

Job Information

• As a part of the Controlling team, the Controller will report to the Chief Financial Officer COS. The Controller will carry out analyses, controls and plausibility checks (incl. master data analysis) and will be responsible for the preparation of regular monthly and quarterly analyses.
• In addition, h/she will be involved in corporate planning, business planning and forecasts for COS during the year. 

Role & Responsibility

Main activities 

 - Support in preparing monthly, weekly, quarterly reportings as well as annual financial statements (HGB/IFRS) 

- Maintenance, further development and automation of reporting processes and controlling instruments 

- Support in creating ad-hoc evaluations/analyses and profitability calculations 

- supporting function to Interface to EMEA and the Shared Service Centre 

- Monitoring of company-wide guidelines 

- Collaboration in interdepartmental and global projects 

- Contact person for topics relevant to controlling 

- Supporting function in budget plans and sales forecasts 

- Support in preparation of financial figures to the management 

- Planning and implementing strategic measures 

- Establishment as well as control of operating process 

- Process and weak point analysis and optimisation 

- Actual-target comparisons 

Job Requirement

Education & Qualification:   

- Completed studies in the field of economics with a focus on finance, business administration, controlling or a commercial apprenticeship with sound professional experience in controlling 

Experience    A position commencing straight from University or school  

Knowledge & Skill     

Job-related 

• first working experience in that area is an advantage 

General 

- Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially Excel 

- Knowledge of ERP systems would be an advantage 

- Very good knowledge of German and English
