Role & Responsibility
General

Data Engineering
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, loading and transformation (ELT) processes
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java for scripting and data manipulation tasks.
- Experience working with databases, preferably cloud columnar databases such as Snowflake and SQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with basic data modeling concepts and techniques
Quality Assurance
- Perform data cleansing and validation tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Implement data quality checks and alerts within data pipelines.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate with source system experts to gather information about data sources, structures, and business rules.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Monitor data pipeline performance and address any disruptions or failures.
Job Requirement
General:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science (Information Management) or Statistics
- Experience: 0-2 years
- Travel Standard: <10%
- Global Breadth: Global
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Intermediate SQL knowledge
- Foundational knowledge of Dbt
- Experience working with GitHub and CI/CD Data/DevOps processes preferred
- Experience with enterprise visualization software (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau etc)
- Foundational understanding of data modelling and data warehouse concepts
- Ability to work independently, under supervision, and in a creative environment
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
