Senior Material Planner & Buyer 

Swords, Ireland

At Geith we have over 65 years’ experience in design and manufacturing premium quality excavator attachments. As the Senior Material Planner & Buyer for Geith, you will plan and execute all required material replenishment in a timely manner in order to maintain customer service at targeted levels.

We’re looking for someone who will:

• Create the monthly stock replenishment plan as an output of the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
• Plan replenishment of other products outside the SIOP process as required.
• Place required Purchase Orders with designated suppliers in a timely and accurate manner to ensure flow of products.
• Work with 3rd party manufacturers to ensure orders are completed to schedule.
• Ensure a weekly production report with updated ordered statuses is distributed as required.
• Flag and escalate any risks to timely completion of PO’s.
• Ensure ERP Master Data is kept accurate and current.
• Provide reports and KPI updates as required.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, particularly process automation.

What sets you apart:

• Supply Chain/Purchasing degree/diploma e.g. CIPS.
• Strong experience within a similar role
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite. Experience in SAP essential. 
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills. Fluency in English essential.
• Ability to thrive under pressure.
