As the Quality Lead at Geith, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. You’ll work closely with suppliers across Europe, Asia and North America, as well as our internal teams, to drive product quality from first concept through to full production.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where your expertise, communication skills and problem‑solving mindset will make a real impact.

We're looking for someone who will:

  • Product validation throughout the NPD & OEM project process
  • Leading the creation and communication of the PQR Product Requirements Document, including supplier technical reviews
  • Partnering with Engineering to define validation and product compliance requirements
  • Acting as the quality lead from prototype through APQP‑PPAP and Safe Launch
  • Reviewing and signing off PPAP submissions across all Geith products and suppliers
  • Analysing warranty complaint data to identify trends, recurring defects and improvement opportunities
  • Driving root‑cause investigations and closing out 8D reports with validated corrective actions
  • Visiting suppliers for problem‑solving reviews and targeted audits
  •  Planning and conducting annual supplier product audits and weekly audit reviews
  • Performing Onsite Assessment Audits (OSA) for new suppliers
  • Leading technical process audits at supplier plants
  • Setting annual warranty and supplier KPI targets and tracking performance
  • Guiding the supplier development team and supporting quality technicians and engineers
  • Supporting operations and service teams with urgent supplier‑quality issues
  • Ensuring defect costs are captured, communicated and recovered where appropriate

What sets you apart:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering role with responsibility for product validation and supplier quality development
  • Strong background in manufacturing (Lean experience is a plus)
  • Excellent knowledge of steel fabrications and related processes
  • Basic understanding of castings, hydraulics and electrical components
  • Confident using quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, SPC and 8D
  • Comfortable working with multi‑location teams and travelling globally
  • Strong judgement, leadership and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make clear decisions
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
