Job Information

A Weld Manufacturing Intern supports day-to-day production in a welding environment while helping improve processes, documentation, and overall factory performance. The role blends hands on exposure to manufacturing with engineering focused tasks, making it a strong fit for students who enjoy practical problem solving and working directly with production teams.

Role & Responsibility

Create and update work instructions, visual aids, and standard work documents.
Collect data (cycle times, downtime) and assist with improvement projects.
Support weld production lines and solve minor production issues.
Update and make changes on Layouts.
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams on small projects.
Assist in the continual improvement of factory safety, quality, reliability and productivity.
Assist in implementation of new tools and fixtures on the weld area.

Job Requirement

Experience of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 2D/3D CAD software (PTC Creo is a plus).
Intermediate or Advanced English is required.
Currently pursuing Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics (or related) Engineering.
Hands–on experience in mechanical work is preferred.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work with different departments.
