Manufacturing Engineer II

Job Information

To work in an advisory capacity to manufacturing, engineering, and/or purchasing departments using knowledge of methods and materials in specialized field or general manufacturing in order to optimize safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

Role & Responsibility

Production System Deployment:

• Production Process/Standard implementation and improvement execution to drive results aligned to Doosan Bobcat Production System(DBPS)
• Serve as subject-matter expert (SME) for lean-based production system; specific modules + system overall
• Encourage planning and execution of Production System through proactive communication with functions
• Lead production system assessments, improvement-planning and drive results aligned to level goals at site(s)
• Support site and regional production system leadership to achieve results

Site KPI Support:

• Establish foundation and systems that enable KPI management for the new factory.(processes, data, governance meetings, etc.)
• Lead efforts to ensure that gaps in site KPIs are closed through both short-term and long-term projects and plans
• Identify and prioritize projects and Kaizens tied to key strategic initiatives for the organization, leading or resourcing as appropriate

Standards and Training:

• Develop site/regional OPEX/TQM standards and training
• Develop and execute a training strategy to support production system deployment throughout the organization, for both salaried and hourly employees, that delivers clear business results, both short- and long-term
• Develop, deliver, and improve training/tools, including lean, DMAIC, Six Sigma, A3, PDCA, and other problem-solving and production-system-specific content or tools
• Coach and mentor others to progress through projects and Kaizens aligned to appropriate improvement methodology (direct reports and other resources)

Job Requirement

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field
• Product and Industry knowledge is a plus.
• Experience: 2 > 4 Years, Travel Required 10%-20%
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred with Green Belt or Black Belt training or certification.
• Ability to train Lean Six Sigma processes and tools (lean, A3, PDCA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt)
• Production system deployment experience is a plus (automotive is preferred)
• Experience in developing standards (quality, engineering, lean, or similar)Data management and analysis capabilities
• Interest and experience in new technologies such as Digital Manufacturing and AI
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams, resource management, and project management is desirable
