We are looking for Trade & Compliance Trainee to join our Bobcat team!

Are you a university student looking to gain real-world experience and discover what a career in international business compliance looks like? Then our Trainee Program might be the perfect opportunity for you!

 

At Doosan Bobcat, we are currently offering a long-term internship within our Trade & Compliance team based in Halle (Saale), Germany.

 

The Trade Compliance department for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa) ensures that our company complies with international import and export regulations. The team works closely with customs, logistics, procurement, and legal departments, while monitoring regulations issued by the EU, US, UN, and other authorities, including sanctions, embargoes, and customs requirements.

 

What are we looking for?

  • You are an active university student, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Law, International Trade, or a related field.
  • You have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working with data and documentation.
  • You are fluent in English; German language skills are considered an advantage.
  • You enjoy working with people and communicating across different cultures and functions.
  • You can handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
  • You have an analytical mindset and an interest in international trade regulations and risk assessment.
  • You are available to work from our Halle office on a regular basis.

What will you do?

  • Support the Trade Compliance team with daily operational activities and reporting.
  • Assist with screening suppliers, customers, and business transactions against sanctions and restricted party lists.
  • Maintain documentation, internal procedures, and databases.
  • Support internal compliance audits and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, finance, and legal teams on trade compliance matters.
  • Monitor changes in international trade regulations and country-specific requirements.
  • Help improve internal processes and compliance awareness across the organization.
