We are looking for Africa District Manager - Material Handling (based in South Africa) to join our team at Bobcat. 

As a District Manager for the Africa Region in our Material Handling business, you’ll be at the forefront of driving dealer performance, strengthening our market presence, and developing strategic partnerships across a diverse and dynamic territory. You will manage exclusive dealer networks for Bobcat and Doosan brands, with a focus on Material Handling equipment, acting as the primary connection between our business and our valued dealers.

We're looking for someone who will:

 

  • Manage and support dealer networks, set targets, and drive business growth for Bobcat and Doosan.
  • Optimize territory coverage, identify opportunities, and expand market share through market insights.
  • Strengthen dealer capabilities via training and support, act as the first contact for dealer needs, and build lasting relationships.
  • Track key KPIs, forecast demand, and share market intelligence with internal teams.
  • Lead dealer networks, collaborate across functions, and support commercial process improvements.

What sets you apart:

 

  • Proven experience in industrial goods, with at least 5 years in dealer network management.
  • Strong technical background in machinery, especially material handling equipment, or similar equipment.
  • Fluency in English (French is a strong advantage).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on problem-solving ability, and resilience under pressure.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
