Position Summary:

Responsible for developing a thorough understanding and issue identification of EMEA’s regional/product market conditions to guide decision making within Doosan’s global management process(LRP/AOP/MBR/SIOP) based on rigorous, fact based quantitative analysis.

The role will be active in various types of projects including business development, go-to market strategy, operational issue identification as project manager and business management process.

He/She will also be responsible for monitoring business performance (strategic initiative review, financial performance) bi-monthly/monthly and will identify issue areas for deeper study.

Role & Responsibility

Business Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Project manager to tackle important business issues: Define and measure issues based on fact analysis, Analyse root causes with logical thinking process and derive the solution aligning with root cause analysis.
  • Support annual and long range business planning: Layout long range plan and prepare communication material (excel, ppt) with guide from Strategy Director

 

Business Status Analysis and Issue Identification

  • Monitor business performance and industry trend: Sales (Maket Share, Volume and field inventory), industry trend, financial performance (revenue, profit and working capital)
  • Mid-Month Report to CEO: Update sales progress in the middle of month and identify issues
  • Monthly Strategic Initiative Review to CEO: Progress update for EMEA strategic initiatives and issue identification/root cause analysis
  • Strategic KPI: Support target setting and evaluation for the result with data analysis
  • Analysis on competitive dynamics, industry evolution, new technology trend
  • Support on industry forecast for current business as well as new business
     

 

Job Requirement

  • Education & Qualification: Business Administration - Masters Degree/ Business Administration - Bachelors Degree
  • MS Office: Professional level of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Analysis: Highly analytical with logical thinking
  • Accounting: Good level of understanding at P&L and BS
  • Maturity: Manage strictly confidential information
  • Presentation & Communication: Skillful to convey key messages with good abstract
  • Language: Fluent in English
  • Professionalism: Strong ownership and accountability for highly challenging tasks
  • Sponge mindset: Learn fast by doing jobs intensively
  • Experience: +10 years
  • Travel Standard: 10 - 24 %
