DLE Electric Engineer

Job Information

An Electric Engineer is responsible for development of the electric system of electric industrial trucks, circuit diagrams and cable lists, parameterization of vehicle control system and testing.

Role & Responsibility

•    Development and design of electrical systems for electric industrial trucks in vehicle series development
•    Collaboration in new development projects and in series support
•    Calculation, design, and creation of electrical circuits in connection with the electronic and hydraulic components of the vehicles
•    Selection of components and design of circuits based on cost-analytical, production-technical as well as service- and environmental aspects
•    Creation of circuit diagrams and preparation of the corresponding documentation (parts lists, drawings, etc.
•    Construction and support of prototypes
•    Evaluation of electrical systems regarding relevant standards, guidelines, and safety aspects 
•    Parameterization and tuning of the vehicle control system and execution of tests of the systems
 

Job Requirement

•    Education Required: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering is highly preferred
•    Preferred experience in Electric engineering ideally: 2-7 years
•    Travel Required: <10%
•    Basic knowledge in the creation of circuit diagrams with E-CAD systems (e.g. E3)
•    Knowledge of the relevant working methods, e.g. parts lists, and ideally experience with PDM systems
•    Experience in the implementation of standards and in the consideration of product safety aspects is an advantage
•    Strong technical understanding
•    Fluent German and basic English skills
•    Very good communication and organizational skills
•    Analytical mindset 
•    Ability to optimize development processes
